How To Apply False Eyelashes: a step-by-step tutorial

Hello!!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently.  I was out of town for a friend’s wedding and got back not too long ago.  Now I’m trying to get back to my regular blogging schedule. 😀 I’m SUPER excited!

Today I wanted to share with you a tutorial on How To Apply False Eyelashes! I know that some girls are a bit scared to try them on…I call it…FALSIES PHOBIA (cue scary music), but hopefully this video will give you some tips and the confidence you need to wear them!

WITH Falsies

Although false eyelashes take some time to get used to, they will instantly become your best friend!  Depending on the type of lash, it can make a subtle or dramatic difference!  I suggest trying various styles on to see what you like and what looks good on you.  Also, pay attention to the material the lashes are made out of, certain kinds might irritate your eyes more than others.

I personally LOVE them because they help brighten up my eyes and make them appear bigger.  They also make my short, stick straight Asian lashes look long and beautiful!

TIP #1:  Falsies aren’t just for fancy events or going out with the girls, but you can wear natural looking ones to help enhance your eyes during the daytime!

TIP #2:  I like to apply my foundation and eye make-up (eyeshadow, liner, curl lashes, coat of mascara) BEFORE applying the falsies, and then AFTER the falsies have set and dried, I like to cover / camouflage the lash band with a liquid liner and then curl both my real lashes and falsies to combine them, and apply a couple of coats of mascara to blend.

Thanks so much for reading, and I hope this tutorial was helpful!

**I’m always searching for new falsies to try.  Please let me know if you have any recommendations!! =D
