Besides blogging, I also work a full-time job.  And like most women, I don’t have enough time in the morning to get ready.  I always seem to be in a rush, no matter how early I set my alarm for.  Most days, I just want an easy make-up routine that will get me out of the door FAST instead of spending 20+ minutes in front of the mirror.  Below I’ve listed 5 Everyday Make-Up Essentials that are not only easy and fast to use, but can be quickly dropped into your purse / bag as well (in case you need to touch up during the day).

• Tinted Moisturizer with SPF

A good tinted moisturizer with SPF is essential for me.  There are many different types to choose from (light, medium, or full coverage).  Instead of having to apply sunscreen AND foundation, it is a great 2-in-1 product that evens out your skin tone and protect against the sun’s harmful rays.  It can be applied with ease, perfect for the woman on the go!

• Eyelash Curler

Similar to many asian girls, I was born with stick straight eyelashes that point downward. 😦  If I don’t curl my lashes, they sometimes poke me in the eyes and irritate them!  I seriously think that this is the one product I can’t live without, and a product that does wonders for all women.  Curled lashes opens / brightens up your eyes with minimal effort.  Even if you are super busy and can’t apply any eye make-up, an eyelash curler is definitely a girl’s best friend!

• Waterproof Eyeliner

I absolutely LOVE waterproof make-up, especially waterproof eyeliner.  I prefer ones that are long-lasting and highly pigmented.  I can put it on the morning and it lasts ALL day without me having to re-apply.  Eyeliner helps make your eyes more defined and pop, useful for when your eyes look tired.  It can make you look ‘put together’ so easily!

• Waterproof Mascara

Just like waterproof eyeliner, waterproof mascara is an ESSENTIAL everyday product!  A long-lasting, no clump mascara makes your lashes look longer, fuller, and more defined to really help brighten up the eyes.  If you don’t put mascara on after the eyeliner, your lashes can easily disappear and make you look like you don’t have any.

• Dual-Purpose Color Sticks (for both the lips and cheeks)

Dual-Purpose Color Sticks are great because they can help reduce the time of your make-up routine.  With one product, you get a great cream blush and beautiful lip stain.  This also means that you get to carry one less product in your purse! 😀 It is easy to use and helps make your face look fresh without the hassle of having to carry extra make-up brushes.  I personally love color sticks that are natural-looking because they are more versatile.
